Richard Buckley and Tom Ford had a cute love story to tell. In the article the fashion journalist and editor wrote back in 2021, he revealed they had their first date in November 1986. The fashion designer told him he would be a millionaire and would soon show his collections all over Europe. True to his words, Ford became one of the best-known designers in the world. His investments were successful when he launched his eponymous luxury brand in 2005.

The two then got married in 2014. However, come 2021, Ford’s greatest nightmare happened. Buckley took his last breath in the said year due to “natural causes after a long illness.” He was 72 years old then. Thankfully, Ford has now adjusted to a life without Buckley, though he admitted it is hard and still wants to call him.
